Providing Safe & Quality Care to Young People – A Practice Guide to Adolescent and Young Adult (AYA) Care
I was fortunate enough to be one of the eight young people working on the project in 2023 to co author and co design a health manual from our lived experiences accessing health care. Alongside the health professionals of the Clincal Excelence Child and Youth Clincal Network (QCYNC). The guide fuses both medical practices and systems with the views and insights of health consumers who have had both positive and negative experiences accessing healthcare. And guides on how we can all do better in empowering young people accessing care and ensuring a safe environment..
